Pueblo Academy of Arts is a Title I School

THE PUEBLO ACADEMY OF ARTS IS A TITLE I SCHOOL OPERATING AN INNOVATION SCHOOL  PROGRAM.

 

• What does it mean for me?

It means that we receive Federal Funding (approximately $487,000 for the 2026-2027 school year) to provide additional academic supports to our students due to the high population of our families who qualify for free lunch.

 

• How is the money spent?

We use it to provide supplies for students, instruction, and creative staffing to meet our students’ needs in our performing arts programs. 

 

• What else does it mean?

It means that parents have the right to request information on teachers' qualifications, including their state licensing criteria, their status, their certification, content areas, and the certifications of educational assistants, paraprofessionals, etc.

 

• How can parents be involved?

Parents can communicate with the principal, Mr. Tapia (efrain.tapia@pueblod60.org), and participate in parent-feedback meetings during the school year, which will be announced at least one month in advance.
